There are over thirty CD-ROM's in this section containing over twenty thousand digital images taken from residential directories, street directories, commercial and trade directories, early guides and histories, newspapers, photographs, picture postcard etc... spanning the period between the 1775 and 1920. Portsmouth also appears often in the Naval History and the Royal Marines History titles.

We are currently in the process of cataloging our vast print collection and adding it to this site on a daily basis. The collection includes contemporary advertisements and photographs of Portsmouth and the surrounding area.
